Description: Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for owning and operating a Pistol or Revolver safely.
Details: This session is at least 1 hour long and includes Firearms Qualification and Range time, learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Individuals will learn the rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals and two handed standing positions; with continued opportunities for skill development.
Individuals(s) will qualify at the range, by shooting at least 10 shots or more. This will satisfy Florida State requirements for the "Concealed Weapons Permit".
If client(s)would like additional time with the instructor thereafter, additional Range time can be purchased for $75 an hour.
A Certificate will be issued confirming you have completed the "Concealed Weapons Permit Qualification" and will be provided at the end of the session.

Targets or Ammunition can be purchased at the Indian River County Shooting Range or you can bring them with you to class.

* Closed Toe Shoes, NO OPEN TOED SHOES,
* Hat or Cap with brim (to prevent spent shells from getting between your safety glasses and eyes.
